Consignment program

Worth real money? Consign it.

Got a vehicle worth too much to "just donate"? Let us sell it on consignment. Proceeds split between you and the foundation. The kids still benefit. The middle path that actually pays.

Donate

Fastest. 24–48 hr pickup.

Tax receipt. Full IRS Form 1098-C.

$0 to you. All net proceeds → kids.

Best for vehicles < $5K, or if you just want it gone.

vs.

Consign

Higher payout. Sale price minus our cut.

You set the floor. Reserve protects the deal.

Charity share. A portion still funds programs.

Best for collectibles, low-mileage, RVs, boats with title and demand.

How consignment works

Four steps. You stay in the driver's seat.

1

Quick intake

You fill out the form (or call). We come back within a business day with a target sale price and our split structure.

2

Pickup & prep

Free pickup. Light reconditioning if it'll boost the sale price. Photos, listing copy, and title work — we handle it.

3

We sell it

Auction or direct sale, whichever gets the strongest price. We won't go below your reserve without checking in.

4

You get paid

You get your share by check or ACH. The foundation's share funds programs. Tax letter for the gifted portion.

Consignment questions

Things people ask, before they sign.

How is the payout split?
It depends on the vehicle's value and the work involved. Typical splits range from 70/30 to 85/15 in your favor for higher-value vehicles. For lower-value vehicles where consignment costs eat margin, donation is often the better path. We'll be honest with you about which option pays you more after fees.
Can I set a reserve price?
Yes. You can set a minimum acceptable price. If we can't get above your reserve, we won't sell — and you can either lower it, reclaim the vehicle, or convert to a straight donation for the full tax deduction.
What kinds of vehicles work for consignment?
Anything where the sale price clearly exceeds the cost of selling it. Typical: late-model cars, trucks, RVs, boats, motorcycles, collectibles, low-mileage examples. Project cars under $3K are usually better as donations.
How long does it take?
Most consignments sell within 14–45 days. RVs and specialty vehicles can take longer. We'll set realistic expectations during the intake call.
Is any portion tax-deductible?
Yes — the portion gifted to the foundation (our share of the proceeds) is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. We send you the appropriate documentation. (Talk to a tax pro for advice specific to your situation.)
What if I just want to donate it instead?
Easy. Switch over to the donation form — same vehicle info, simpler paperwork, full tax deduction, and we still pick it up free.
